Interior design studio ArchiSalty completed a thoughtful refurbishment of La Chaumoise, a butcher’s shop serving Les Sables‑d’Olonne for over a century. Now led by Jérémy and Agathe, the much‑loved business has been carefully updated for today while preserving its artisanal character. Above the counter, a row of Natural Terracotta pendant lights introduces warmth, texture and a quiet celebration of hand‑made work. A fitting tribute to the shared values of craftsmanship and tradition that define both the makers behind the lights and the artisans behind the butcher’s block.

Natural Terracotta lampshades Shaping Retail Experiences

Bringing craft to every aspect of the interior, ArchiSalty suspended a row of Natural Terracotta lampshades from Coolicon’s Craftsman’s Collection neatly above the main counter. Thoughtfully spaced pendants that create a clear visual rhythm, defining the primary service zone within the compact shop and guiding customers naturally along the counter. The shades warm textures and soft ambient lighting contributes to increased dwell time, encouraging customers to pause, browse and engage more deeply with the display.
